Dark make-up makes eyes look bigger? is it freaking true?

Hi! No, dark make-up actually makes the eyes look smaller and more defined. You could actually give it a try simply by lining your eyes along the upper lash lines and water lines. By placing the liner nearest the lash lines, it gives the impression of thicker lashes; thereby it sort of takes up some ';space'; around the eye area and makes the eye look smaller.





However, by curling the upper lashes and lining the water line with a WHITE eyeliner, it the eyes will look bigger. The curled lashes opens up the eye, and the white liner on the lash line makes it look like the sclera (the white part of the eye) is bigger. Maybe you can try to do this on each of your eyes and see what makes it look bigger :)Dark make-up makes eyes look bigger? is it freaking true?

Dark make up does enhance your eyes and accentuate the features, but it doesnt make it look bigger.

no it does not make your eyes look bigger. it makes your eyes pop. put a little bit of white eyeliner on and it will make you look more awake. also to make yourself look more awake, highlight with white under your eyebrows to give that wide awake look. have fun! (:
i don't think so, i think theres lots of ways to play up your eyes using both dark and light colors. using just dark makes it look trashy, but it also depends upon the person and skin color.
It depends on how you apply it but yes, it is mostly true. To make your eyes way bigger you have to put definite make-up in your eyes. If it's smoky, then it's a little okay.
I am asian, but if I wear light colored makeup then my eyes don't stand out and look smaller. I wear dark makeup and I think my eyes actually look bigger regardless of what makeup ppl say. It flatters my features at least.
