Not necessarily air-headed, but definitely juvenile and a bit ridiculous. Eyeshadow shouldn't contain glitter. If you want some sparkle, pick a shadow with a subtle shimmer as opposed to full on flecks of glitter. Glitter is for kids. Glitter--OUT, Shimmer--IN. I think eyeshadows that have a little shimmer in them are sexy as they catch the light and draw attention to your eyes, but all out glitter reminds me of little kids or clowns...
glitter is tough %26amp; should be used only for certain things. a eye shadow with a slight touch of glitter in it is ok, but u need to be careful to not get it all over ur face. i perfer a eyeshadow with a shimmer in it instead of a glitter. some people do mistake glitter on ur face as childish, but for themed parties, new years or special events its ok to have a little fun with it!!

Depends. Maybe if you're going out at night it would be fine, but apparently for spring metallic/glittery stuff is in. If you like glitter don't like overdo it maybe just use some glittery eyeliner, but don't like smear glitter all over your lids. If you put it on all like ... ick then yeah.
