Which eye shadow shade looks best on people with dark brown eyes?

Ooo it's sooo tough for us!! In all my years I hv just discovered it is burgundy, mauve ,wine type colors. STAY AWAY FROM greens/blues etc...I know they r sooo pretty but they don't work for us.

Actually, brown is the most flexible eye color amongst other eye colors when it comes to using eyeshadows. Like for example, people with green eyes should be careful in using eyeshadows in green shades because green shadows will not help their eyes pop out more. On the other hand, blue eyes should also be careful in using blue, etc. So since brown is a neutral color, any color can go with it--from neutrals to pinks, blues, greens, purples, etc. Just have fun experimenting with the colors and on application techniques.
ive read zillions of websites that all say brown eyed people can wear any eyeshadow color! so your blessed.
i also have brown eyes and we can pull off just about any color but i like purples and greens (not together, although ive never tried that ; ) ) not bright gaudy colors. make sure they're deep purples and olive green. and DONT GO OVER BOARD!! a little goes a long way!

well i have DARK brown eyes and brown hair and i just wear a semi-sparkly pinkish white eyeshadow. but i tend to read in magazines grays and darker shades go well with our eye color!
