as other people have said, they're thinking about something else, stunned, tired, on drugs, etc. what also happens to me, though, is that my eyes will get comfortable in a certain spot and i just space out and stare at that spot for a while, lol

The lights are on but no one is home. They're lost in thought or lost in sadness, They're there but they're not there, their mind is elsewhere. For me, it's often from depression.
They could be seriously traumatised and have numbed their emotions,

It depends on the situation.
They may have gotten hurt and are stunned.
They may not be paying attention to what you're saying to them.
They could be high.
They are either on something (drugs), don't understand what is going on around them, or are mentally disconnected.

I want an eye cream that helps with puffiness, dark circles, and wrinkles. What ingredients should I look for?
Krithika wrikles are mostly associated with ageing and dark cirlces are mostly due to stress and not sufficient sleep. try using potato or cucumber every day int eh night to remov ethe dark circle. more thatn that take enough rest and eat nutritious food.
for wrinkles try using garnier wrinkle lift creme. Australian cosmetics are supposed to be good since thier rules are very stringent.
iam not sure as to how far it is effective. but the cucumber theraphy is very effective one.

I have fairly round eyes, and i don't like it too much so i was wondering if anyone knows how to make them look slimmer and narrower etc... and also i cant go out and buy new make up this is what i have: almays concealer and powder, volume blast mascara%26amp; bare naturels in brown, pencil brown eyeliner and lip gloss(clear), oh and beige, chocolate brown eye shadow (i have other colours too though)

Try to relax your cheek mussels, and don't make your eyes too intense. try to smile a bit more. If your trying to get the fierce look, try to go edgy, its hard to find the perfect picture, but keep on trying your end up with a gorgeous photo, but try to download photo-shop, and play around with it, it will make your photos look amazing.

To open up your eyes and make them appear larger:
Line the bottom of your eyes with transparent (clear) eyeliner.
Use a lengthening, volumizing, curling mascara ONLY on your TOP lashes. Using mascara on your bottoms will only make your eyes appear smaller and more closed.
To make the green pop:
Use a plum/purple liner on your top lid (will also open your eyes up), and some purple/plum shadows. Purple makes green pop like crazy, and also happens to be the it color this fall.

Eye liner in a dark color on the out side half, I have really thick lashes so I just do the bottom but you can do that top to, dont go all they way around your eye though, makes them look smaller. I no longer engage with the mass media, 9/11was the last straw for me. ';Everything'; that we are told about that day, on the TV, is easily disproved. I am genuinely surprised that they still allow people to prnt factual information in books.Can you realize when a person is lying to you when you look into his eyes?
A normal tell tale sign if person not familiar with body language or eye gestures is they will move their eyes up and to the left if they are lying. .

I believe theres some weird connection between peoples eyes..i feel like some people i can read them just by looking into their eyes..and others i look into their eyes and see nothing. I dont know if its the actual person...or..what.

I have dark green eyes too =] I use very dark black mascara, and sometimes plum. All I need is one coat and then I use an eyelash curler. I put mascara on my bottom lashes too, but lightly and not all of the lashes just the middle part. Then if I want eyeshdow, I use gold, plum, a netreul brown or lavender. They all bring out green really well. I don't use eyeliner since it doesn't look good with my eyes so you probably don't need it either, but if you want it get plum, bronzey-gold, or black. 4. Put a small bit of the eyeliner on the outer corner of your lower lid. Make sure this line is very thin and only goes about a few centimetres in
5. Take a white pencil eyeliner and make a line from where the blue eyeliner ends to the inner corner of your eye. Make a small dot inside the inner corner of your eye
6. BLEND LIKE CRAZY!!!!

my cousin swears by preparation h to reduce puffiness.. doesn't use it regularly, though, just before special occasions and such.

Other wise I;d say drink loads of water, reduce your salt intake and eat 9 different portions off fruit or veg (more if you can manage!) and excercies three time a week an hour at a time.- I know it sounds like some bland health basics, but I have a clear complection- untill I stop doing the above, and then I get puffy eyes, red eyes and bags under my eyes.
Oh and I dont care what anyone else says, getting 8 hours sleep a night (not 7 or less than 8, or more than 9) will work I know many people say it doesnt make any difference, but then tell me why I get double bags or deeper bags after only 3 hours sleep?!

Other wise I;d say drink loads of water, reduce your salt intake and eat 9 different portions off fruit or veg (more if you can manage!) and excercies three time a week an hour at a time.- I know it sounds like some bland health basics, but I have a clear complection- untill I stop doing the above, and then I get puffy eyes, red eyes and bags under my eyes.
Oh and I dont care what anyone else says, getting 8 hours sleep a night (not 7 or less than 8, or more than 9) will work I know many people say it doesnt make any difference, but then tell me why I get double bags or deeper bags after only 3 hours sleep?!

i really think you should go to an eye doctor / optometrist. eye infections are very serious and can leave scarring on your eyes if not treated correctly. once you do, they will most likey prescribe some eye drops for you and they work like magic, within a day you will be clear of the infection. also...eye infections are very contagious so they may send you home from school anyway!

how ever this will give great effects for a couple of hours..because your body will regain the water in this area in acouple of hours...
P.S. this also works if you have a saggy chin..thats if your getting older.. it will tigten your saggy chin line
( another cosmetic sol. is to put darker conceler under your eye.. it will make them appear smaller)

My rescue kitty has eye infection.how long does it take for terramycin 2 work.will it look worse before better?
i rescued 2 kittens from my elderly neighbor's shed. the mother abandoned them.
they are now about 6 weeks. and the little one has an eye infection. somewhat resembling pink eye. it was inflamed. oozing and closed shut.
i could not afford a vet visit, so a pet supply store friend suggested terramycin opthamalmic ointment.
i began cleaning the eye with saline solution before each application of the terramycin. it began to work. next day his eye stopped oozing. next day after that the eye opened and no more swelling. next day after that his eye looked MUCH better. just a little red around the edges. and you could see most of his eye.
but the very next day, after applying the terramycin the night before, he woke up the next morning and his eye looked worse. a sort of swelling on/ under lid. and a bit red again. puffy, and teary.
i discontinued use of the terramycin. and miraculously the eye looked better again the next day. but then i was told to continue the terramycin for at least 7 more days.
i started the terramycin and saline cleanings again, and again the same pattern.
day 1 good. day 2 better. day 3 even better. day 4 swollen and inflamed again.
i don't know. i read a blog where a woman posted a photo of her kitten. who also had an eye infection. HIS EYE LOOKED JUST LIKE MY LITTLE GUYS!!!
she also said she did the terramycin ointment and was concerned, as his eye was not healing. but miraculously, the 3rd day he look much better. except for a little redness. just as mine had.
anyone have experience with terramycin?
is there such a thing as overuse in terramycin?
is there a point where it plateaus?
or should i just continue the use even though it looks bad? could that be a part of the healing process? is it uncommon for when using terramycin, the kittens eye will look better, then look worse in order to complete the treatment?

If it's herpes, then the terramycin won't even begin to help. And I know that you don't want to hear this, but an untreated herpes infection in a kitten can get really bad, to the point where they will lose an eye. If the conjuctiva continue to swell, then I'm sorry but he needs to go to the vet. I just got done with a week's aggressive treatment of a foster kitten with a bad herpes infection, and it was really questionable for a while if he'd lose an eye or not. When they are young like that, they just don't have enough of an immune system to fight things off (mine was abandonded at the shelter at 5 weeks old). We ended up with two different eye treatments - a drop given every couple hours and a different ointment given at night. And l-lysine of course! It still took over a week to clear up, but there was improvement after only three days.

You might be using the meds too much. I don't usually use it more than a couple of days in a row. Then give it a chance to heal. Try and get the 3in1 or maybe they call it 5in1 shots at a low cost clinic. You want the ones for the upper respiratory infections. That will help avoid reoccurences. Bless you for helping the baby kitty, they are so precious.
You will have to keep applying the ointment for at least 2 weeks and I would get Lysine in a capsule and add it to their food. It will help break the dna chain for the feline herpes virus, that can cause the eyes to become infected. Read up and the Feline Herpes virus. And what you give their body will take what it need and get rid of the rest. I would give all the kittens the L-lysine. I hope you do the research and learn what you are dealing with it will shed some light on the what is going on.

I just read some very good reviews about Hylexin. It costs $95 for .78 oz. Pretty steep, but I'm going to try it. If your dark circles are under the skin (reddish, purple color), I saw a dermatologist several years ago for the same problem. At that time there was nothing medically that could be done. I have tried everything for my condition and nothing has worked. I have even consulted plastic surgeons who can't guarantee results. My advice to you is just give up trying to get rid of them and settle for a really good concealer to mask them.
By the way there is a new product named ';Hylexin'; that claims to remove serious dark circles. Its an absolute rip off and a huge scam. It did nothing for me. Really there is no product out there that will do the trick so just dont waste your money on any product that makes claims which they just cannot deliver upon.

I just read some very good reviews about Hylexin. It costs $95 for .78 oz. Pretty steep, but I'm going to try it. If your dark circles are under the skin (reddish, purple color), I saw a dermatologist several years ago for the same problem. At that time there was nothing medically that could be done. Hope you find a solution.

you should take her to a vet, or let nature take it's course, because to me this sounds like a cancer tumor.
A ';blob'; could have lots of different causes, local bacterial infection, lymphocystis, eye fluke, fungi,reaction to water quality, oedema, you name it, I certainly wouldnt be assuming its cancer just yet, so if you can come back with some info we could narrow it down a bit.
How big is the blob, is it the only one, whats the tanksize and water qualities ammonia nitrite nitrate etc, any info you can come back with will help, better yet upload a photo to photobucket or similar and post the link here so we can take a look.

Eyeliner at the on the bottom of your eyelid and above your bottom lashes. Put cream/white eyeshadow on before the eyeliner. Then mascara and light pink lipgloss.
Line the insides of your eyes with a white eyeliner, that definitely makes them pop... use mascara only, no liquid liner, that makes them appear smaller. Always use an eyelash curler to give you that ';wide eyed'; look.

How can i get my eyes to look bigger but still look natural?
I have dark brown eyes and fair skin. I use a pearlescent flesh-toned shadow on my lids from the lashline to the browbone (mine is actually an all-over highlighter). Then dark brown mascara. Curling lashes does make your eyes look bigger, too but I'm too lazy to do that.
If I want to make my eyelashes stand out more, I do a thin line on my top lid only in brown pencil, as close to the base of my lashes as I can get. If I want them to stand out even more, I take a fine-edged brush, dip it in dark brown eyeshadow, and smudge over the eyeliner (still staying close to the thin line) for a bit of a smoky look. If I want my eyelids to look a bit deeper, I'll use eyeshadow about two shades darker than my skin and brush it onto my crease and all over the outer corners of my lids, then blend it with a big brush.
Since I have cool tones in my skin, most of my natural-look eyeshadows are pinky-brown, and they're all pearlescent (catches more light than the rest of your makeup and puts more focus on your eyes). If you have warm skin, look for more golden-brown tones.

I just figured out how to get mine to look bigger, this will work if you have like any color of eyes really, blue, gray, green, brown, or hazel. Mine are a hazely brown. Then on the bottom, I use my light green eyeshadow as a liner over the black on my bottom lids. Then on top, I put a little blue eyeliner and smudge it. Then I put the green eyeshadow on the crease of my eye, not where you can't really see it if my eye is open, and then I take a light pink and put it all the way up to my eyebrows, and mix it together a little. Then, curl my eyelashes and but a volumizing and lengthening mascara on my top and bottom lashes. Oh, and then I put a whitish, silvery eyeliner/eyeshadow(it doesnt matter) on the inner corners of my eyes to brighten them.

If I want to make my eyelashes stand out more, I do a thin line on my top lid only in brown pencil, as close to the base of my lashes as I can get. if you wear a dark eyeliner, dont put it on the inner corners of your eyes, and put more on the outer corners. same with dark eyeshadow. dont put any darkness towards the inner part of the eye, it closes it off and makes them look smaller

Hazel eyes look disgusting?
i dont think ill ever be able to date any girl with that color. its just not flattering...it seriously looks awful..anyone else agree?Hazel eyes look disgusting?

Ok i'm 16 years of age. I have dark circles and puffiness under my eyes. Which leads to fine lines. How can I make this disappear? I don't wanna cover it up with make upMaking eyes look prettier?
use an eye cream and put spoons in fridge to chill them and place on eyes for puffyness. also if you sleep flat on your pillow then prop them up more b/c fluid will pool under your eyes when you sleep. as for dark circles there are over the counter creams about but i dont think they work. the skin under your eyes is really thin and the blood vessels are showing through. you might need vitamin k or iron ( check that before you take it with your doctor or health food store) until then a little bit of concelear will help. some people just cant make them go away but it should help diminish the appearance. good luck.Making eyes look prettier?

But if you dont want to do that for some reason, then freezing spoons and sticking them under your eyes before you leave will help. Sounds crazy but it does work. Not as good as the makeup might i add. It's not that big of a deal to put some concealer under your eyes,its like the only thing i do in the morning. If i dont i look like im litterly dead.

My 9 year old min. schnauzer's eyes look cloudy he is in good health other wise, what does this come from can it be cured naturally,will he go blind? The vet said it could be cataracts or glaucoma but he would have to run tests I guess, %26amp; right now I don't have the cash for it. Can I give him vitamins or something to help clear it or slow it down?

The cloudy look in your does eyes might also be nuclear sclerosis. It is a common condition in older dogs. It does usually occur in both eyes at the same time in dogs over 6. Also, it does not majorly affect the vision in dogs. But if it is cataracts most dogs adapt very well. I have two 12 yr. old min pins that have cataracts. They both just take it in stride. But if the owner is upset about it the dog will pick up on this and may react poorly. Just make sure you take your dog for his checkups every 6 months and if you see any change in the way his eyes look. When your more financially secure you should find a veterinary ophthalmologist because there are serious complications from cataracts that are left untreated.My min. schnauzer's eyes look cloudy?

Sounds exactly like what the vet said. I am unaware of any medication or supplaments to help this problem. It seems to be a slow process. We had an old dog when I was a kid and it slowly went blind from cateracts. I didnt slow him down too much though, unless he ran into something. Dogs got really good sences that help compensate the loss of vision. I hope all goes well though
You have a breed that's so close to my heart. When dogs get older they may develop cataracts. The mini schnauzers live quite long and I'm thinking yours may be too young to develop typical eye problems. But, if I remember correctly, the minis, some of them, are prone to get an eye condition early on (I can't recall the name for the condition). My first schnauzer never developed 'old age' eye problems until about the age of 12. Then he lived to 16 yrs. old. The one I have now is 10 and has no eye trouble yet. Good luck.

I work in a pet store and there are eye drops you could try but if it cataracts or glaucoma they would be ineffective. He won't go blind. My senior tiny toy poodle has the same problem and we don't have the money for the procedure either. It just makes their vision a little unclear. I wouldn't worry yourself to much.

cucumber slices or a cold spoon can perk up the eyes quickly.

Connect the two lines together at the outer corners of your eyes. a small little wing can also be done. Wet a thin angle brush and dip and mix in teal eyeshadow and trace over the line. Rewet it and go over as many times as needed to finish and get the desired shade. With a hot pink eyeshadow, sweep over your eyelid into the crease. Its better if the eyeliner is the shiny/sparkly/glittery color, but either is ok. On the upper part of your eye, brush a lighter pink, or if you're willing, a very light sweep of the teal. Along the brow bone right under your eyebrow, brush a white or very very light pink to create an exaggerated highlight. Use a smooth lipstick/blam/gloss but stay away from glitter and sparkly lips when using this eye technique so it doesnt counteract your statement with your eyes. You can use this with any color combo really. Good Luck!

Making your eyes big with makeup is pretty simple, don't be intimidated!
Avoid using dark shadow colors on the whole lid - a light, shimmery shadow on the lid, inner corner, and brow bone will really open up the eye. Save your medium-dark shade for the crease, pulling the color up slightly above your own natural crease - or you can skip it for a super big, doe eyed look.
With eyeliner, avoiding lining the bottom at all. A thin line right against your upper lashline is all you need. This will make your lashes look thicker without closing up your eyes. Use a white eyeliner on your waterline to really open up your eyes and look more awake.
