How come sometimes when u look at dogs eyes they look greenish blueish?

it's the light reflecting in their eyes. It's the same as a cats' but not as clear from a further distance. How come sometimes when u look at dogs eyes they look greenish blueish?
Not sure of the exact color description you mention, but I do notice something different about my dog's eyes depending on what kind of light they are exposed to/how exposed to it. I would think it is the same thing that causes a dog's eyes to look yellowy when a light hits their eyes at night.

It is something called ';Tapetum Lucidum'; which is a membrane in back of the dog's lens in their eyes which is reflective. So it would seem it isn't a change of appearance because they are looking at you as much as what light they are looking into when looking towards you.

me no know
the animals have like a small mirror in the back of their eyes and when light hits it at a certain angle it traps light and reflects it and thats the color that you see.

~hope it helps :)
because the way the light is hitting their eyes
It might be the way that the dog is sitting near the lights...that might be the reason why he dogs eyes change to that color...hope this helps and good luck...
