HOW to make eyes look big and open and BIG!?!?!?

I want my eyes to seem bigger, longer and rounder. Please say WHAT makeup (be specific name shade and brand) and how?!HOW to make eyes look big and open and BIG!?!?!?
Big tip for easier application - Get a self sharpening eyeliner pencil (I know Maybelline makes one). They are softer than regular pencils, they go on smoother, but are easier to deal with and less messy than liquid eyeliners.

Wide eyes - When I apply my eyeliner, I start off with the top eye lid, from the outer corner of the top lid, start of fairly thick, getting thinner toward the middle. Remember, don't line further than half way, and as with the bottom, start off thick and work your way thin, only to half way. If your line is thin enough in the middle, it will blend in naturally (make sure top and bottom lines are touching on the outer edge of eye) if this is done properly.

I simply use my eyeliner, and only line the bottoms 1/2 way from middle to outer edge!
First of all, its not a good idea to ask for brand names. You should find the brand that works best with your skin type.

I would suggest wearing a light amount of foundation, first and foremost.

Apply some lengthening mascara, if your lashes are short.

Buy a cheap eyeliner, and practice with it. When you already have foundation on, its really easy to apply, just dont put it on the insides of the lids. You will want to use the thinnest lines possible, and the smallest amount. It is not GOOD to LOOK like youre wearing eyeliner. It might not be a good idea to wear it on the bottom lid, either. That tends to make the eyes look narrower.

Also, you wont want to do a line that goes out further than the edge of the lid.

With shadow, it is good to use 3 colors that accentuate your skin and eye color. If you have olive skin, use greens or neutral browns. The three colors should be light, medium and dark.

Use the medium color on the lid, to where the lidline is. Thats where the bulge ends. Dont use a LOT of makeup. Less is more.

At the line, use the DARK. You will want to make just a line from halfway between the brow and the tearduct, at the lidline, and a little ways in- towards the middle, above where the color begins in your actual eye. shadow that line, to the outside edge of the eye.

On the top of that lidline, you will use the lightest color. Thats the area to use a little extra on. That makes your eyes look bigger.

Another good thing to do is to get your brows waxed, or tweeze or shave them with special facial hair razors. Walgreens carrys them. They are called ';El Perfection'; and they are in the shaving section. I use them. Its cheap, quick, and safe. I hate tweezing, and have refused to wax, ever since I got scarred by someone who heated the wax up too much, and burned my upper lip. Ow.

You will also want to use a little blush (just a little) on the cheeks. Dont go wild with it. Just brush a tiny bit under the cheekbones. That will give youre cheekbones a more ';raised'; look. Its very sophisticated to have ';high cheekbones';.. very model-esque.

With lips, if you already have a nice color to them naturally, then you could just put a little gloss on them with sunscreen. If you dont have color, and want pouty lips, try using a lighter color than usual. Play around with different colors- go cheap- use those 99cent ones until you find the right color.

The shinier, the slimmer- so dont go too shiny on the lips. Shiny lipsticks are great on already big pouty lips, but not great if you are trying to appear to have fuller lips. Matte finish lipsticks are better for that.

Also, if your lips are TOO full, in your opinion, then you could go for a darker, shinier shade- which will help to make them look a little thinner.

There are also lipliners to make them look poutier, and fuller. Dont line the outside of the lips. Try to keep the lip liner right on the edge. It takes practice, but you can do it.

I refuse to give brand names, because all brands are different. Your ';perfect shade'; could be made by a different brand name than any I know of, even. You might also have an allergic reaction, break out in pimples, or have a problem with a brand that tests or doesnt test on animals.

Just go buy the cheap stuff, and fool around with the basics that way. Always be on the lookout for the colors that work for your skin type.

I also suggest using your lipstick as a blush. This is great when you have worn down or broken lipsticks. You just put your fingertip on the lipstick, and kinda rub it under your cheekbones, and a little on your forehead, chin, and nose. That helps give your entire face a ';glow';.

Oh yeah- and if youre looking for ';widened'; eyes- DO AVOID those sparkly glitters and rhinestones. You can definately bring attention to your eyes with them, but they should be a last resort.

You can learn to use them properly, and still have wider looking eyes... but overdo it, and youre goint to have wider, WILD looking eyes, hahaha...

Good luck, sweetie!
Try curling your eyelashes. It helps open up the eye, takes about two seconds, and is completely easy to do. You can get an eyelash curler at any place that sells makeup...and it's just a few dollars.
when i want to do that i usually use concealer first..on my face so that its even and my eyes can POP....just use a shade LIGHTLY darker than yours....or a face bronzer...then for the eyes..i usually use any black eyeline(brand doesnt really matter, just make sure its like a pencil so you can sharpen it) and i line just the top lid...from the middle out (and i go a liiiittle past my eye-straight across-just a little so it almost looks like an extra eyelash....do a thin line and make it thicker if u need(not too think tho) also fake eyelashes are GREAT- get individual ones, use a tiny bit of glue and tweezers to put them on, then u just line them up with you lashes(like layer them right on top) dont touch ur actually skin and there ya go....good luck!!!
Simply black and white eyeliner, mascara, eyelash curler. (I don't support fake eyelashes, but I don't disagree that they don't help create the effect either).

For the brand, it doesn't really matter what brand it is, except for that the eyeliner is able to smudge a little, but not too much that it gives you raccoon eyes. I would recommend Maybelline.

Line the top lashline with a think black eyeliner, and the bottom a white eyeliner. Smudge a little. Use a black or brown mascara(depending on your skin tone); lengthening mascara would be the best.

You should go to the malls and stuff and ask the people there to show you how to do it, because this skill is kinda hard to grasp hold of, and most people do better visually than someone trying to explain it to them in words.
white shadow on the upper lid, underneath the brow. try Clinique's Sugar Sugar. www.clinique.com works wonders, goodluck!
One great tip is to use an eyelash curler AFTER you put mascara on. It really helps widen your eyes and the mascara holds the curl in place. Just make sure you do this a few minutes after applying mascara so it's not still wet and smudgy.
i'm asian and i have small eyes....but i make it bigger by putting foundation on my face..rub it in the spots that are needed..liquid eyeliner on top and pencil eyeliner on the bottom...i put fake lashes on and curl it up...
Well, I line my eyes in black. I line the bottom of my eye and the top outer 1/2 or my eye. Then I use masacara. Then to make the eye really pop is to use white or cream color eyeliner, i use cheap old wet n wild for this, and line the inside of your eye on the bottom. The part between your lashes and your eye. some people usually line this part with black but that makes your eyes look smaller and mysterious. Also, lining the entire eye can make it look smaller too.
well after you have used your base do make your eyebrows and for your eyes first of all you should apply light colors eye shade and at the edge of eye use black or darker color and use eyeliner and inside your eyes use white liner and than curl you lashes and us mascara on your lashes
Ignore brand names, they are all about the same when you buy the same type, i.e. oily skin, dry skin, etc...

And the shades should be what look best with your coloring, and you didn't give that.

Find the colors that look best for your eye color to bring them out.

Apply the lighter shadow shade all over, and keep the dark shades to thin applications on the lid, don't go over the crease.

Then apply darker eyeliner only on the top lashes. Apply a white, cream, or other pale color to the bottom lashes. Don't line all the way to your nose, keep about your pinky finger's width unlined.

Curl your eyelashes at the base to help open eyes, and keep your lashes out of the way. It also can make lashes appear thicker and longer.

And don't forget to shape your brows. A thick, heavy brow that's straight across can make even the best eyes look bad.

Also, don't play up both your eyes and your lips. If you wear bright or dark lipstick, it will compete for attention with your eyes. It also looks over painted, and tacky.

yeah i use black liquid liner (smashbox) and the slim brush that comes with it. it draws a better line. never do the racoon eye that just makes it look smaller. just draw a thicker line at the outer edge of your eye, and taper it as it goes to the center of your eye. and forget the bronzer shimmer glitter highliter crap
