mabye its the lighting. or when you look at your own eyes in the mirror our head blocks some light so your pupils get bigger and your iris (which is lighter than the pupil, which is black) becomes smaller.
i dunno.Iwas told that i have light brown eyes but strangely everytime i look in the mirror they look darker why isit?
I really have no idea about you, but my sister has light brown eyes (kind of a hazel, but a lot more brown than green) and they get a lot darker when she is tired.
Sometimes different colors one wears also affects they way the color in your eyes is percieved.
