Why is it that girls who are looking at you, look away when u see them right in the eye?

i was so delighted to see that a chick on metro train was giving me the lewks ;) But when i looked at her back she moved her face away :( Why o why???!!!??? Are they scared? are they ashamed? what is the reason? girls please?Why is it that girls who are looking at you, look away when u see them right in the eye?
You know what, I caught myself doing that the other day to someone. I was checking him out because he was really cute and had an awesome sense of style, but when he looked over at me and smiled I instantly looked away so he walked on. I was so mad at myself I wanted to slap my own damn face. I don't know if it is because I am currently dating someone and so I felt ashamed or what the deal was but I don't think you should take it offensively at all.Why is it that girls who are looking at you, look away when u see them right in the eye?
It's because,in world today it's not the woman who stares at a man ,it's the man that stares and maybe she is scared that you might not like her,so she thinks your cute and it always helps to stare,go over there .just don't look like a fool.
For me, it's reflex. I don't know why I do it. I can usually only look into the eyes of someone I already know, or someone I'm having a conversation with. If I catch myself looking away from meeting their eyes, I'll do my best to look back, but I don't want to seem like I'm staring either.
A very analogical answer......what would u do if u find a girl passes by ur side saying ';excuse me'; in a mall, with a nice shade of short skirt put on. n ur eye balls poping out of the sockets.....n then she just has to look back at you from a distance!!!!!
I typically look away because I was staring and I think I've looked away in time for him not to notice. I'm usually wrong. If I take a second look and he's still looking I'll talk to him or something, though.
because they're embarassed. if they really wanted to give you a look they would look back at you again.
reason is cause when eye contact is made-next move is talking, and she didn't/couldn't.


and we are never ashamed-just have more class than to stare and drool like many of ya do
Sometimes its because they are shy and sometimes they are embarrassed because they got caught checking you out
It could be flirtation, or maybe you had some food on your face and she was embarrassed for you.
It goes back to animal instincts. Looking an animal in the eye is confrontational. Most animals will automatically look away.





She may have been embarassed that you caught her looking at you. She may be shy. Or it could just be human instinct.
It's called 'being coy'. It's a looking at you to get your attention then looking away to act shy. ';Shy'; is supposed to peak the Male's interest and keep him looking at us. Then we're supposed to give him quick glances to keep his attention on us and to let him know we're interested in him.


It's a social game we usually have to play, like social flirting.
