There is no way that you can read what is on or in someones mind by looking into their eyes. However, it is possible to 'read' or know what a person is thinking . It is called tlepathy and it exists in human beings. It is not a gift that only a few people have but something which is normal. However, because we do not have pure minds it is something thsat we are unable to use at present.,

It depends on who you are. No person is able to know our thoughts but by observing us for a time. A person able to do this then would be able to see much by looking into our eyes with a pre-existing understanding of us, and our own disclosure of ourselves. Persons who feel under pressure by the directness of eye contact are often compelled to talk if they do not look away. We give ourselves away in this manner, and in all of our manners, or ways. It is my experience that one who maintains direct contact in this way is attempting to understand who you are. bjdowling

No, but you might be picking up on micro-expressions, tiny very very short, involuntary and uncontrollable movements of the muscles of the face (especially around eyes), that can show emotions when the face is otherwise expressionless
